Piedmont Rescue Mission Needs Your Help Immediately

Listen up guys. Piedmont Rescue Mission is in trouble. This winter has been extremely hard on us. For the last 32 years we have been a haven of hope in Christ for folks in need but now we are in need. The mission
does not have the funds to meet next months expenses. We must pay off our $41,000 credit line or we may be forced to close. I know that many of you love this ministry and this area would miss us if we were gone. Please go to our website www.piedmontrescuemission.org and make a donation as soon as you can. Together we can save the oldest and only Gospel Rescue Mission in Alamance County.

Tony Honeycutt, Executive Director PRM

Piedmont Rescue Mission is in Desperate need of your donations.

Piedmont Rescue Mission is under a financial burden.  We need your help to get this burden paid off.  It is very critical to the mission being able to stay open and running.  Please if you can send a donation at this time it would be greatly appreciated.  God bless you.
Executive Director, Tony Honeycutt

Lives change because of you!

We just want to thank all of our supporting individuals, churches, and businesses for all that you do to help us minister to those in need! We have linked our blog here to auto feed to Facebook, so we will be posting here with good news and more in depth posts about what God is doing through the ministries of Piedmont Rescue Mission!

Enjoy this video below of one of our residents speaking about how God helped him overcome temptation. He also recites a poem he wrote. You can view the video in the small window or click the YouTube icon to view it larger from our YouTube page.

Posting to our blog again

We have mostly had an abscence here lately because it is easier to post our events and photos on our website and Facebook page and not triple post on three platforms, but we will start posting here again today. You can always view albums and event photos on our Facebook page by clicking on the box in the sidebar of the blog. You do not have to be a member of Facebook to view our content! We will start posting more in depth about the things going on here in the ministry to show our supporters how we are helping those in the community. Stay tuned!

The Ministry in Pictures

Ministering to Troubled Youth at Grace Haven

Ministering to the Public Through Good Samaritan Super Thrift

Feeding the Hungry & Homeless Through the Rescue Mission

Ministering Through Alamance Pregnancy Services

Ministering to the Lost in Kenya, East Africa

As we start this new year at the minstries of Piedmont Rescue Mission, we would like to thank all of you who have supported us through these difficult financial times. God has continued to provide our needs through the gracious support of churches, individuals, businesses, and civic groups.
As we start this new year, we ask that you continue to remember us in your prayers and it is our hope that you will continue to support these much needed ministries. Whether it is a man seeking shelter, a young pregnant girl who needs guidance and help, a troubled teen at Grace Haven, or a church in Kenya that needs help, your support makes all of these ministries possible.
I thought you might like to see just a few pictures of what goes on in these ministries, so enjoy them.
If you want more information about the ministries of Piedmont Rescue Mission, or would like to take a tour of our facilities, just call us at 336-229-6995.

January Community Meal

We had a great turnout at our January Community Meal. We had this as our Christmas MEal since the first meal was affected by the weather.
We fed over 150 people and WFMY NEWS 2's weekend anchor Tracy McCain came out and took some fotage that was featured on the news.
We also handed out new toys to the needy children who attended. A big thank you to all who donated toys, or their time so we could minister to the community!
Go to our website at http://www.piedmontrescuemission.org/ and look on the home page for the link to that news footage.
Again, we thank all those who support the ministries of Piedmont Rescue Mission. We can't do it without you!

Our 2009 Community Thanksgiving Meal was a great success! We fed about 225-250 people who were in need of a hot meal, and we shared the gospel with them during our service! Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this event possible, and thanks to our cooks who prepared the meal. Our executive director even gave an interview to WFMY Channel 2, who was there to film some footage of the meal. We are trying to secure that footage, and then I will post it on our website at http://www.piedmontrescuemission.org/ .
