For the past few months, we have been posting most of our updates on our main website and on our Facebook page. We will begin posting in our blog journal regularly again, but please remember that you can always look at the blog sidebar and you can see our most recent updates and pictures in our Facebook page box.
Our annual Community Easter Meal will be on Saturday, March 7, 2012 at 11:30am here at the mission. Our location is 1519 N. Mebane Street in Burlington, NC. We will be serving a hot meal to the needy in the community and sharing the gospel with them. We will also have surprises for the kids!

To volunteer, please call 336-229-6995. Pray for us as we minister to those in need in our community.

2011 Greater Vision Banquet.

We are excited about our upcoming 2011 Greater Vision Banquet. Our speaker this year is Senator Steve Russell. He is now a senator for the state of Oklahoma, but retired as an Army Lt. Col. in 2006. He was the leader in the hunt and capture of Saddam Hussein and he has a phenominal presentation and story that you won't want to miss. Giving out toys to the children in need was a great blessing to our staff and volunteers. To see their faces light up made our day!

2010 Community Thanksgiving Meal results and Upcoming Christmas Meal

We had a great turnout for our Thanksgiving meal here at the mission. We fed over 150 people that were in need of a hot meal. We will post some pictures from the meal as soon as we sort through them and get them downloaded.

Dont forget about our upcoming Christmas meal. Tell everyone that you know that needs a hot meal, or has no one to spend Christmas with, to come to the mission on December 18th at 11:30am for a good meal.

WE WILL ALSO BE GIVING OUT TOYS TO THE CHILDREN WHO ATTEND! THE CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE THEIR TOY.
